Con el objetivo de compartir información sobre la atención especializada que brinda el Instituto Municipal de las Mujeres (IMM) en la localidad, la encargada de despacho del IMM, Elvira Urrutia Castro, asistió a la reunión del Club Rotario Ejecutivo Juárez.
Como parte de la charla, también habló de las diferentes actividades destinadas a la prevención de la violencia y la transversalización de la perspectiva de género al interior de la administración pública municipal.
En este sentido, el IMM presentó las líneas de prevención que implementa a través de la conformación de redes de mujeres constructoras de paz (MUCPAZ) y el trabajo articulado a través de la estrategia municipal FLORECE.
Se espera que esta reunión sea el inicio de una colaboración activa para fortalecer las acciones de prevención en la comunidad; por lo que Urrutia Castro extendió la invitación a los integrantes del Club a sumarse a las acciones y trabajar de manera colaborativa en la prevención de la violencia contra las mujeres y niñas.
