Con el objetivo de garantizar la salud de los cerca de 16 mil derechohabientes municipales del IMPE y sus familias, la Síndica Municipal de Chihuahua, Olivia Franco, encabezó una visita al Banco de Sangre DVS en Ciudad Juárez. Acompañada por el Dr. Luis Carlos Esquivel, Subdirector del Instituto Municipal de Prevención y Atención a la Salud (IMPAS), les explicaron los procesos y operaciones de esta Institución para integrar elementos clave en el desarrollo del Banco Municipal de Sangre.
Durante el recorrido, la Síndica destacó la relevancia de este proyecto, señalando que el estado de salud del personal es esencial para el funcionamiento eficiente de la administración pública. “Lo más importante en una administración es su capital humano, y lo más importante de este capital es su salud. Con este proyecto, se busca ofrecer un servicio integral y digno para el personal y sus familias”, comentó Franco, reafirmando su compromiso con materializar esta Iniciativa.
Isaías Sánchez Macías, Gerente de Operaciones en el Banco de Sangre DVS, detalló el modelo operativo de captación de donantes y enfatizó la importancia de la colaboración entre Instituciones. “Es fundamental que los municipios tengan acceso directo y confiable a estos recursos, ya que las necesidades son crecientes y la capacidad de respuesta debe ser eficiente y rápida”, destacó.
Con el Banco Municipal de Sangre se pretende fomentar, implementar y centralizar dentro de la administración municipal los servicios de donación, procesamiento, almacenamiento y distribución de sangre, facilitando el acceso a estos recursos para los empleados municipales a través del Instituto Municipal de Pensiones (IMPE). Esto permitiría brindar servicio médico integral, reduciendo los costos de servicios subrogados.
Este proyecto comenzó hace más de un año cuando un colaborador fue diagnósticado de leucemia, quien falleció el pasado 10 de noviembre tras enfrentar una batalla contra el cáncer. Durante su enfermedad, vivió las complicaciones de conseguir donadores de sangre y plaquetas, situación que inspiró a Franco a impulsar esta propuesta con mayor determinación.
El Banco Municipal de Sangre se vislumbra como una Iniciativa innovadora que busca fortalecer la atención médica de los trabajadores municipales, reafirmando el compromiso de la administración con la salud y dignidad de su equipo y abiertos a la posibilidad de trabajar con más Instituciones médicas por medio de convenios.
