La delegada de Programas para el Bienestar en Chihuahua, Mayra Chávez Jiménez, llevó a cabo esta mañana la entrega de 1 mil 299 tarjetas de la Pensión para el Bienestar de las Personas Adultas Mayores en la ciudad de Delicias, en evento realizado en las instalaciones del Gimnasio Leyes de Reforma.
Los municipios beneficiados con esta entrega son, además de Delicias, Camargo, Meoqui, Rosales, Saucillo, San Francisco del Oro, Julimes, Saucillo y La Cruz.
Un total de 15 mil 046 adultos mayores de nuevo registro en el estado de Chihuahua obtendrán sus plásticos del Banco del Bienestar durante el mes de enero para cobrar dicho apoyo, alcanzando con ello la cantidad de 450 mil 618 derechohabientes de este programa en la entidad.
La Pensión para el Bienestar de las Personas Adultas Mayores tiene como objetivo mejorar la situación de protección social de toda la población adulta mayor de 65 años o más, a través de una pensión económica que a partir de esta entrega será de más de 6 mil 200 pesos bimestrales.
Este programa fue elevado a rango constitucional como una pensión universal, lo que quiere decir que se entrega a todas y todos los adultos mayores, sin importar condición social o económica, ideología, creencias, etcétera.
Las nuevas incorporaciones para el programa se estarán llevando a cabo durante los meses de febrero, abril, agosto, octubre y diciembre del año en curso.
