Sarahí Frankyln Alveola, presidenta del PAN Municipal de Chihuahua, anunció que el partido se apersonará ante la Fiscalía General del Estado para interponer la denuncia por violencia política en razón de género al regidor de Morena, y ex panista, Miguel Riggs Baeza, tras insultar públicamente, a la síndica Olivia Franco.
“Es inaceptable que un representante popular del partido que sea se atreva a insultar a compañeras del Ayuntamiento de Chihuahua, incurriendo en un acto de evidente violencia política contra una mujer”, aseveró Frankyln.
Fue durante la sesión de la Comisión de Hacienda y Planeación donde el regidor morenista profirió un vulgar insulto contra la síndica municipal, Olivia Franco.
El regidor se conectó vía Zoom a la sesión. Cuando la Síndica tuvo su turno de hablar al micrófono, el morenista emitió el insulto, el cual se escuchó en plena transmisión en vivo de la sesión, y como ya consta en el video difundido en redes sociales y medios.
“Desde el Comité Directivo Municipal manifestamos total respaldo a nuestra síndica Olivia Franco, como partido defendemos a las mujeres y rechazamos absolutamente cualquier forma de violencia, en este caso en particular la que es cometida para tratar de denostar la participación de las mujeres en la política”, declaró la dirigente del partido en Chihuahua capital.
Esperamos que procedan los mecanismos que establece la ley una vez que sea interpuesta y no quitaremos el dedo del renglón pues no podemos permitir que se violenten a las mujeres y se menoscabe su participación en la política.
