La Síndica Municipal, Olivia Franco, hizo un llamado a la ciudadanía de Chihuahua para que participe en la votación del Presupuesto Participativo 2025, un proceso que permitirá a los chihuahuenses decidir sobre los proyectos más beneficiosos para sus comunidades. La votación se llevará a cabo el 15 y 16 de febrero, de 9:00 am a 7:00 pm, en diversos centros de votación distribuidos por la ciudad.
En esta edición, la bolsa destinada al Presupuesto Participativo asciende a 307 millones de pesos, un incremento significativo gracias al compromiso de Chihuahua, el único municipio del estado que se autoexige destinar el 6% de su presupuesto municipal a este fondo. Esto se traduce en más recursos para obras y proyectos que mejorarán la calidad de vida de los habitantes.
La Síndica destacó la importancia de este mecanismo, que brinda a los ciudadanos la oportunidad de participar de manera directa en la toma de decisiones sobre la asignación de los recursos públicos. “Como Sindicatura, tenemos la responsabilidad de dar seguimiento al proceso y garantizar la correcta aplicación de los recursos destinados a estos proyectos, por lo que estamos comprometidos y participando
activamente en todo el proceso”, comentó Franco.
Franco expresó su optimismo respecto a la alta participación ciudadana, que ha ido en aumento cada año gracias a los resultados tangibles de este proceso y el respaldo del Instituto Estatal Electoral. “Esperamos una gran afluencia, ya que los resultados del Presupuesto Participativo son evidentes en las obras que se han realizado en años anteriores”, afirmó.
Los 367 proyectos que se someterán a consulta pública están siendo promovidos activamente por sus proponentes, quienes trabajan para presentar las mejores propuestas. Los proyectos están disponibles para consulta en la página oficial del Municipio, donde los ciudadanos pueden conocer las propuestas validadas y las sedes de votación por distrito.
