Rosarito, Baja California., a 30 de abril de 2025.- Las Grutas de Nombre de Dios, administradas por el DIF Municipal, fueron galardonadas como el “Mejor destino de naturaleza para vivir una experiencia de aventura” durante el Tianguis Turístico de México 2025 celebrado en Rosarito, Baja California.
El premio fue entregado por la revista especializada “México Desconocido”, que organiza anualmente este certamen para destacar a los destinos turísticos más atractivos e innovadores del país.
En representación del alcalde Marco Bonilla, el director de Desarrollo Económico y Competitividad, José Jordán Orozco, acompañado por el secretario de Turismo del Estado, Edibray Gómez Gallegos, recibieron este reconocimiento que coloca a las Grutas de Nombre de Dios en el mapa nacional como un referente de turismo de naturaleza y aventura.
Este galardón representa un importante impulso para el turismo en la región y refrenda el compromiso del Gobierno Municipal con la promoción de sus riquezas naturales y el desarrollo económico sostenible.
El Gobierno Municipal, invita a las familias chihuahuenses y a los visitantes que llegan a la capital a conocer este magnífico atractivo turístico, ubicado sobre la Vialidad Sacramento, a tan solo 15 minutos del Centro Histórico.
Las Grutas de Nombre de Dios ofrecen una experiencia inolvidable en cada una de sus 17 salas pétreas, donde se pueden apreciar impresionantes formaciones naturales. Estas figuras son el resultado de la disolución de aguas cargadas de dióxido de carbono (CO₂) sobre rocas calcáreas, lo que ha dado origen a un asombroso paisaje subterráneo lleno de estalactitas y estalagmitas.
