El vicealmirante Octavio Sánchez Guillén, presentó los avances del Corredor Interoceánico, aseverando que se construyeron 1,200 km del ferrocarril interoceánico en las líneas “Z”, “K”, “FA” y “KA” y agregó que comprende los estados de Veracruz, Oaxaca, Tabasco y Chiapas.
También dijo que se desarrollan 30 laderos, 610 puentes, 8 patios de trasvase, 41 estaciones y 1,583 obras de drenaje transversal.
La Línea FA quedará lista en los próximos meses para conectar el transporte de carga con el Tren Maya y también con la refinería Olmeca.
Dicha línea va de Coatzacoalcos a Pakal-Ná. Entre las líneas FA y Z se tiene la capacidad de transportar a más de 108 mil pasajeros y más de 514 mil toneladas, explicó el vicealmirante, Octavio Sánchez.
Como parte de las obras de infraestructura, se rehabilitaron 330.45 kilómetros de vía, así como la construcción de 91 puentes, 9 laderos y 2 patios de trasvase.
