La colonia Felipe Ángeles y la Fronteriza Baja son de las más afectadas por la precipitación pluvial que se registró en la región esta madrugada, por lo que se habilitó el albergue para migrantes Felipe Ángeles, como espacio para atender a las familias afectadas, dio a conocer el director general de Protección Civil, Sergio Rodríguez.
“Aún no se ha acercado nadie, quizá porque la gran mayoría de las personas que habita en estas colonias cuenta con familiares en calles aledañas y suelen socorrerse en situaciones como esta”, mencionó el funcionario.
No obstante, dijo que el alberque situado en la calle Arroyo del Mimbre, de la colonia Felipe Ángeles, estará abierto las 24 horas para dar apoyo a quienes lo requieran.
Asimismo, informó que varias dependencias están en colaboración para llevar a cabo las acciones en apoyo a la comunidad que radica en el sector.
“El personal de Servicios Públicos se encuentra retirando escombro, además la Dirección General de Desarrollo Social está en un recorrido por las viviendas para ver lo que necesiten las personas”, señaló.
Sergio Rodríguez subrayó que desde los primeros minutos de este día, el Presidente Municipal, Cruz Pérez Cuéllar dio la instrucción de hacer todo lo posible para ayudar a las familias que se encuentran afectadas por las condiciones climatológicas.
“Las lluvias continuarán en la región, tal y como se informó desde la semana pasada, sin embargo, fue hasta hoy que se tuvo alrededor de 30 milímetros de captación total. Sin embargo, es muy importante que la comunidad sepa que la cantidad de agua de arrastre se genera en la sierra de Juárez, en donde fue de 60 milímetros y esta es la que desemboca en las calles”, indicó el funcionario.
En cuanto a los daños, el director de Protección Civil dijo que hasta el momento se tienen contabilizados 10 hogares en donde el agua alcanzó el metro y medio de altura, por lo que existen daños considerables. Asimismo, la fuerza de la corriente logró mover 15 vehículos, los cuales tienen afectaciones totales o parciales.
Destacó que esta fue una tormenta repentina y que no es específico de Ciudad Juárez, ya que se ha dado en todo el estado.
Dijo que sigue la posibilidad de lluvias en la ciudad, por lo que se pide a la ciudadanía informar al número de emergencia 911 en caso de alguna eventualidad y estar al tanto de los medios de comunicación.
