La presidenta de México, Claudia Sheinbaum, dio este jueves por terminada la controversia con su homólogo salvadoreño, Nayib Bukele, quien niega que una avioneta con cocaína incautada en territorio mexicano hubiera llegado desde su país.
Bukele llamó a consultas el miércoles a su embajadora en México, Delmy Cañas, y exigió al gobierno mexicano una “rectificación inmediata”, pues según él la aeronave ingresó a Costa Rica el pasado 3 de julio y continuó su vuelo por el océano Pacífico.
Tras la publicación de Bukele en X, García Harfuch reiteró la noche del miércoles en la misma red social que la nave fue ubicada por las autoridades mexicanas en espacio aéreo salvadoreño.
La avioneta, cuya matrícula no ha sido especificada, aterrizó en una pista clandestina en Tecomán (estado de Colima) y en su interior fueron encontrados 428 kilos de cocaína, según el secretario de Seguridad y Protección Ciudadana.
