El director general del ISSSTE, Martí Batres, presentó el Programa nacional de mejoramiento de quirófanos, aseverando que en México se cuentan con 408, de los cuales están distribuidos en 144 unidades del país.
Detalló que 80 quirófanos serán intervenidos, 66 tendrán mantenimiento especial, 41 se le instalará nuevo equipamiento, 18 contará con nuevo personal y 14 serán reparados en obra mayor.
Los 408 quirófanos que existen en el país brindan servicio a 2 millones de derechohabientes del ISSSTE.
