Omar García Harfuch, secretario de Seguridad y Protección Ciudadana (SSPC), descartó que exista complicidad de la Secretaría de Marina (Semar) y de la Fiscalía General de la República (FGR) con una red de tráfico de combustible, también conocido como huachicol.
La publicación es por la información que publicó el periódico Reforma en el sentido de que un presunto líder de una organización dedicada al huachicol en el centro del país recibía protección de Semar, FGR y de la Coordinación de Inteligencia de Petróleos Mexicanos (Pemex).
De acuerdo con la investigación, la FGR intervino legalmente el teléfono de Cirio Sergio Rebollo Mendoza Don Checo, presunto líder de la red criminal, semanas antes de su detención con miles de llamadas, y constató que la red de tráfico implicaba, según las grabaciones, pagos a agentes funcionarios de Pemex y que FGR le avisó sobre su posible detención.
