En un primer acercamiento institucional, el diputado local José Luis Villalobos, presidente de la Comisión de Turismo del Congreso del Estado, sostuvo una reunión con el presidente del corporativo DGC y fundador de la Universidad Regional del Norte (URN), Daniel García Coello, con el objetivo de intercambiar ideas sobre proyectos educativos y conocer de primera mano la experiencia de esta institución pionera en formación turística en el estado.
Durante el encuentro, el legislador priista destacó la importancia de construir alianzas entre el Legislativo y las instituciones educativas, al considerar que el turismo requiere una visión técnica, académica y de futuro, y la URN ha sido un referente en la profesionalización de este sector. Añadió que desde la Comisión que encabeza, estos espacios de diálogo enriquecen el trabajo parlamentario y permiten legislar con mayor fundamento y pertinencia.
El legislador subrayó que el acercamiento con la URN no solo busca revisar proyectos existentes, sino también darles forma, generar propuestas sólidas y convertirlas en iniciativas de ley o reformas que impacten positivamente en la política turística del estado. En ese sentido, agradeció la disposición de García Coello, para abrir las puertas de la universidad al diálogo institucional.
Finalmente, Villalobos también presentó un balance de su primer año de actividades legislativas, detallando iniciativas impulsadas en materia de desarrollo económico, promoción turística y vinculación educativa, así como gestiones encaminadas a fortalecer el papel de Chihuahua como destino competitivo en el ámbito nacional e internacional.
Este acercamiento, coincidieron ambas partes, marca el inicio de una colaboración que permitirá integrar esfuerzos en favor de una educación con visión global y un turismo sostenible, innovador y alineado a los retos actuales.
