El Cabildo de Ciudad Juárez contempla otorgar un apoyo económico al Instituto Municipal de la Mujeres, a fin de que se entregue como ayuda a las madres buscadoras, para que puedan continuar con su labor en busca de sus familiares desaparecidas.
Durante la Sesión Ordinaria de Cabildo número 22, encabezada por el Presidente Municipal, Cruz Pérez Cuéllar, la regidora María Dolores Adame Alvarado comentó que de aprobarse esta ayuda, se reconoce el esfuerzo, tenacidad y voluntad de estas madres en seguir en la búsqueda de justicia para sus seres queridos.
Al respecto, la directora general del Instituto Municipal de las Mujeres, Elvira Urrutia Castro, comentó que el dinero lo utilizarán las madres para imprimir volantes, camisetas, gasolina y traslados para hacer las labores de búsqueda.
Dijo que el Instituto estará en contacto con la regidora Adame Alvarado, las madres buscadoras y grupos de mamás, además de que se hará la invitación a la Comisión Edilicia de la Mujer y Equidad de Género para que se sumen a este proyecto en el que se haría con transparencia el reparto del recurso económico.
Norma Laguna Cabral, madre de una de las víctimas, hizo uso de la palabra, donde agradeció a la regidora Adame Alvarado, ya que para las madres que están buscando justicia, es importante el dinero.
“A veces nada más andamos con el dinero del camión y tenemos que hacer búsqueda de nuestras hijas y nuestros hijos y por eso sí es muy importante ese recurso”, expresó.
Aunado a esa propuesta, también se turnó a la Comisión de Hacienda, otra más para autorizar la construcción de un muro que reconozca y enaltezca la labor de las madres buscadoras.
En la misma sesión, se aprobó la desincorporación y enajenación a título gratuito de un predio municipal, con superficie de 20 mil 382 metros cuadrados, a favor de la asociación civil Desarrollo Juvenil del Norte.
Sobre ello, la regidora Karla Michaeel Escalante Ramírez comentó que la donación se hace porque conocen el trabajo que Desarrollo Juvenil del Norte hace en favor de niñas, niños y adolescentes en situación de vulnerabilidad que radican en el sur de la ciudad.
Además, se establecen condiciones específicas y en caso del incumplimiento el inmueble será revertido al Municipio.
Sobre este tema, el alcalde Pérez Cuéllar comentó que la labor que desarrolla esta asociación es plenamente conocida por la comunidad juarense y donar este terreno es para apoyar a alguien que su labor es importante para la ciudad.
“Esta es una asociación que trabaja con la gente más vulnerable, que ayuda a la niñez y a la juventud”, afirmó.
Como apoyo al deporte y para promover a Juárez como un punto donde se pueden llevar a cabo eventos de talla nacional e internacional, el Cabildo aprobó un subsidio económico a favor de la Federación de Artes Marciales Mixtas y Juego Limpio, para el desarrollo de un campeonato nacional de artes marciales mixtas en esta ciudad.
El regidor y coordinador de la Comisión Edilicia de Hacienda, Alejandro Daniel Acosta Aviña, dijo que el Municipio siempre apoyará aquellos eventos en los que ayuden que las niñas, niños, adolescentes y adultos mejoren su calidad de vida y se alejen de aquellas actividades que puedan perjudicarlos.
Este miércoles también se aprobó otorgar el Reconocimiento a la Trayectoria de Vida edición 2025, en sesión extraordinaria del Honorable Ayuntamiento a celebrarse a las 12:00 horas del día 28 de agosto del presente año.
Este galardón, así como un apoyo económico de 50 mil pesos, se entregará a la ciudadana Alma Rosa González, quien parte importante de su vida la dedicó a mejorar la vida de niñas, niños, adolescentes y adultos.
Por casi 40 años se ha encargado de ayudar a personas en situación vulnerable.
