En el marco de la presentación de su Cuarto Informe de Gobierno, al presentar los resultados del eje Más seguridad, paz y tranquilidad para tu familia, el alcalde Marco Bonilla señaló que en Chihuahua Capital existen importantes reducciones en diferentes delitos: 81% en robo de vehículo, 76% en robo de vehículo sin violencia, 75% en robo con violencia, 62% en robo sin violencia y casi 20% menos en homicidios y feminicidios.
El Alcalde subrayó que la clave de estos avances ha sido una estrategia integral que destinó el 25 por ciento del presupuesto municipal en la materia, la cifra más alta en la historia reciente de Chihuahua Capital, lo que permitió invertir en tecnología, equipamiento y capacitación; además de la coordinación interinstitucional permanente, donde se destaca la apertura al diálogo y colaboración con Gobierno del Estado.
Entre los logros en materia de seguridad Bonilla Mendoza destacó:
- Las 154 nuevas patrullas con cámaras en cada unidad.
- Los más de 400 chalecos balísticos para la protección y cuidado de los elementos.
- El fortalecimiento de la Plataforma Escudo Chihuahua Capital (PECUU), considerada una de las más modernas del país.
- La conclusión del Pueblo Táctico del Instituto Superior de Seguridad Chihuahua (ISSCUU).
- La formación de nuevas generaciones de policías de proximidad y bomberos.
“Estos números no son casualidad, son el resultado de una política clara, valiente y bien ejecutada. Quien la hace, la paga”, afirmó Bonilla y reconoció el trabajo coordinado con el Gobierno del Estado y el apoyo irrestricto de la Gobernadora Maru Campos, a quien agradeció públicamente al señalar que la Capital la reconoce y le agradece por todo su trabajo y compromiso con las familias de Chihuahua.
Por otro lado, en el eje Gobierno que escucha, resuelve, más transparente, eficaz y eficiente, Bonilla Mendoza informó que en materia de eficacia gubernamental el Municipio alcanza ya el 49% de ingresos propios, lo que reduce la dependencia de recursos federales; mantiene la calificación “Triple A Estable” de Fitch Ratings y HR Ratings, la más alta posible en salud financiera; y en cuestión de transparencia el alcalde capitalino informó que el Municipio logró un 100% de cumplimiento de las obligaciones de acuerdo con CIMTRA.
“Un gobierno eficiente no es el que gasta más, sino el que resuelve más. Y cada minuto que ahorramos en trámites es tiempo ganado para la familia”, señaló el alcalde.
Asimismo, el Alcalde destacó el crecimiento del Presupuesto Participativo, que pasó de 164 millones de pesos en 2022 a 306.9 millones en 2025, lo que representa un incremento de más del 87%. Gracias a este mecanismo, la ciudadanía ha decidido directamente la realización de calles, parques, canchas y espacios comunitarios en sus colonias.
“Gobernar no es imponer, es construir con la gente. Lo hemos hecho escuchando, dialogando y resolviendo”, concluyó Bonilla, al reiterar que la prioridad de su administración ha sido y seguirá siendo cuidar lo más valioso: las familias chihuahuenses.
