La presidenta Claudia Sheinbaum se mostró a favor de que el coordinador de la bancada morenista en el Senado de la República, Adán Augusto López, aclare su situación patrimonial en caso de que le sea requerida para evitar especulaciones al respecto.
Lo anterior, luego de que se revelara que, presuntamente, el funcionario recibió 79 millones de pesos de empresas que no fueron revelados en su declaración patrimonial. Según la publicación nacional, que se basó en datos obtenidos por el Servicio de Administración Tributaria (SAT), se muestran pagos de GH Servicios Empresariales y Capital Cargo del Golfo, con transferencias que inician desde 2023.
Respecto a los supuestos 13 senadores morenistas que se revelaron en contra de Adán Augusto y le exigieron rendir cuentas claras a la bancada, la Presidenta dijo desconocer alguna queja y afirmó que se trata de una estrategia engañosa de controversia, pues no ha escuchado de reclamos sobre el tema.
