Grecia Quiroz, esposa del presidente municipal Carlos Manzo, asesinado el pasado sábado, rindió protesta como alcaldesa sustituta de Uruapan, Michoacán.
Ante el acto protocolario se escuchó de parte de los asistentes el “¡Presidenta, presidenta!”, en el Pleno del Congreso de Michoacán.
Carlos Manzo, quien fue asesinado por un sujeto la noche del sábado en medio del Festival de Velas de Uruapan, del 2021 al 2024, se desempeñó como diputado federal, dentro de la fracción de Morena. En su carrera política también militó en el Partido Revolucionario Institucional.
