Omar García Harfuch, titular de la Secretaría de Seguridad y Protección Ciudadana (SSPC), dio a conocer que el Gabinete de Seguridad, así como la Fiscalía General de la República (FGR), han descartado que la explosión de un coche bomba en Coahuayana, Michoacán, sea investigada bajo los términos de “terrorismo”.
La razón que Harfuch argumentó sobre este cambio legal es que, según él, este concepto “no se contempla en las leyes mexicanas y otras a nivel internacional”.
Harfuch explicó que la apertura de una carpeta de investigación por delincuencia organizada sigue al avance de las investigaciones, las cuales han apuntado a la presencia de un grupo delictivo en el desarrollo de los hechos ocurridos el sábado 6 de diciembre.
