El presidente Donald Trump dijo el martes que Estados Unidos no necesita el Tratado México-Estados Unidos-Canadá (T-MEC), pero Canadá sí lo quiere.
El mandatario aseguró que su país no necesita de productos canadienses, mientras que su vecino del norte sí requiere de los fabricados en suelo estadounidense.
“No tiene ninguna ventaja real, es irrelevante (…) A Canadá le encantaría. Canadá lo quiere. Lo necesitan”, dijo Trump al recordar que en los próximos meses “expirará”.
El mandatario estadounidense hizo los comentarios mientras recorría una fábrica de Ford Motor en Dearborn, Michigan, antes de un discurso sobre la economía que tenía previsto pronunciar en Detroit.
