El presidente de la Unión Ganadera Regional de Chihuahua, Álvaro Bustillos, rechazó la resolución de la Suprema Corte de Justicia de la Nación (SCJN), misma que revocó las medidas sanitarias implementadas por el Gobierno del Estado para blindar a Chihuahua ante el gusano barrenador.
Consideró que el tema en mención evade la contingencia sanitaria nacional y el trabajo realizado por el sector ganadero chihuahuense, con el cual se prevé preservar su estatus sanitario.
Álvaro Bustillos, destacó que las medidas que fueron anuladas buscaba proteger el patrimonio de las familias que dependen directamente de la ganadería.
