Durante sesión de Cabildo, el H. Ayuntamiento de Chihuahua entregó seis placas del Distintivo de Buenas Prácticas de Inclusión Laboral a las plantas 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 y 6 de Safran Aerosystems México S. de R.L. de C.V., ubicadas en el Parque Industrial Supra, como reconocimiento a su compromiso con la inclusión de personas con discapacidad en el entorno laboral.
En su mensaje, el alcalde Marco Bonilla reconoció a Safran ya que emplea a 68 personas trabajadoras con discapacidad, con condiciones motriz, auditiva, psicosocial, visual e intelectual, distribuidas en sus seis plantas, quien adaptó diversos procesos para que se puedan desempeñar sus labores de la mejor forma.
“Este distintivo representa más que un reconocimiento material, es que Safran demostró que es una empresa que ha arropado a Chihuahua como si fuera su casa, que ve a la inclusión como una oportunidad por su un gran impacto”, señaló el Alcalde a la par de destacar que estas acciones son para que Chihuahua avance en materia de inclusión.
Por su parte, la regidora de la Comisión de Mujer, Familia, Igualdad de Género y Derechos de Niñas, Niños y Adolescentes, Paty Ulate, reconoció que el objetivo de este distintivo es que sociedad y empresas caminen de la mano por el bien de todos.
Cabe señalar que, este distintivo reconoce la adopción de políticas, prácticas e infraestructura que promueven la igualdad de oportunidades, la accesibilidad y el respeto a los derechos humanos, consolidando a Safran como una empresa referente en materia de inclusión laboral en el municipio.
