Transición en Venezuela no será fácil: Marco Rubio

El secretario de Estado, Marco Rubio, reconoció ante el Senado estadunidense que la estabilización y transición en Venezuela no será fácil, pero las nuevas autoridades del país caribeño están colaborando con la Casa Blanca.

Rubio aventuró un plazo de entre seis y nueve meses para que se observe claramente la estabilización venezolana rumbo a la transición política.

“No estoy aquí para decirles que esto vaya a ser fácil o sencillo. Lo que digo es que, en tres semanas y media, casi cuatro, estamos mucho más avanzados en este proyecto de lo que pensábamos que estaríamos”, aseguró el exsenador republicano.

“Reconozco que no será fácil. Estamos tratando con gente que ha pasado la mayor parte de su vida viviendo en un paraíso de gánsteres”, agregó.
