Como parte de la coordinación interinstitucional entre la Dirección de Seguridad Pública Municipal (DSPM) y el DIF Municipal, y con el objetivo de ofrecer entornos más seguros y garantizar la protección de los derechos de niñas, niños y adolescentes, ambas dependencias trabajan de manera conjunta en el programa “La Calle No Es Su Lugar”, mediante brigadas que recorren las calles de la ciudad.
Agentes de la DSPM recibieron una capacitación por parte del personal que colabora en este programa del DIF Municipal, con la finalidad de actualizar a los elementos policiales sobre las situaciones que pueden presentarse durante los recorridos y fortalecer el trabajo coordinado con las brigadas para retirar a los NNA de las calles.
Dichas brigadas, encabezadas por el DIF, realizan recorridos para localizar a niñas, niños y adolescentes que se encuentran en la vía pública, con el propósito de canalizarlos a espacios seguros donde se les brinda cuidado, alimentación y actividades educativas mientras sus madres y padres trabajan, contribuyendo así a la reducción de riesgos, situaciones de peligro y posibles casos de explotación infantil.
Con estas acciones, el Gobierno Municipal refrenda su compromiso con la protección integral de la niñez y la adolescencia, impulsando políticas públicas que priorizan el bienestar, la seguridad y el desarrollo pleno de las y los menores de edad.
