Las Comisiones Unidas de Educación, Cultura Física y Deporte, y de Gobernación y Puntos Constitucionales del Congreso del Estado llevaron a cabo una reunión de trabajo para analizar la iniciativa que propone adicionar un artículo al Código Administrativo del Estado de Chihuahua, con el propósito de fortalecer la libertad y autonomía sindical de las personas trabajadoras al servicio del Estado.
Durante la sesión, se dio lectura al asunto promovido por la diputada Edith Palma Ontiveros y el diputado Óscar Avitia Arellanes, integrantes del Grupo Parlamentario de Morena, el cual busca armonizar la legislación estatal con el marco federal en materia de defensa y fortalecimiento de la autonomía sindical.
La propuesta establece que los sindicatos deberán gozar de adecuada protección contra cualquier injerencia por parte de entes públicos en su constitución, funcionamiento y administración, así como en el libre desarrollo de sus procesos internos, incluida la elección de sus dirigencias, garantizando condiciones de libertad, participación y democracia sindical.
Tras el análisis correspondiente, las y los diputados integrantes de ambas comisiones aprobaron por unanimidad el sentido positivo del proyecto, a fin de que el dictamen respectivo sea sometido a discusión y votación en una próxima reunión de las Comisiones Unidas.
En asuntos generales, participó el maestro Eduardo Antonio Zendejas, secretario general de la Sección 8 del Sindicato Nacional de Trabajadores de la Educación (SNTE), quien reconoció la disposición del Poder Legislativo para avanzar en una reforma que fortalezca el respeto a la libre sindicación y a la democracia interna de las organizaciones sindicales.
Finalmente, el diputado presidente de las comisiones unidas, Óscar Avitia, agradeció la participación de las y los asistentes, subrayando que la presencia de la representación sindical fortalece la agenda legislativa en favor de la educación y del respeto a los derechos laborales.
