La Junta Municipal de Agua y Saneamiento (JMAS) de Chihuahua inauguró este lunes la zona Aguardianes en el museo Semilla, como parte de las actividades con motivo del Día Mundial del Agua.
El director de la JMAS, Alan Falomir, destacó que con esta iniciativa se busca generar conciencia sobre el cuidado del agua, principalmente en estudiantes de nivel primaria, por lo que invitó a los directivos de los planteles educativos a visitar dicho espacio.
Agregó que, a través de actividades y contenidos didácticos, los menores de edad podrán comprender de mejor manera la importancia del uso responsable de este recurso tan valioso y ser verdaderos agentes de cambio.
Falomir agradeció las facilidades del DIF Estatal, y a su presidenta María Eugenia Galván, por contar con este espacio permanente para la Cultura del Agua.
El funcionario comentó que, entre las actividades para conmemorar el Día Mundial del Agua, el 24 de marzo se realizará la presentación oficial de los Comités Juveniles Aguardianes en la Universidad La Salle Chihuahua, en donde participarán más de 20 comités integrados por estudiantes de preparatoria y universidad, que promoverán la cultura del agua en sus escuelas.
El 25 de marzo se develarán 11 murales sobre el cuidado del agua en la Planta Filtros, el 26 iniciarán la Copa Aguardianes de Futbol y el torneo de Basquetbol 3×3, que serán del 27 al 29 de marzo, con la participación de más de 72 equipos de fútbol y más de 50 equipos de básquetbol.
