El coordinador del grupo parlamentario del Partido Verde en el Senado, Manuel Velasco Coello, se pronunció a favor de una reforma electoral que surja de un amplio debate y genere reglas claras y equitativas para todas las fuerzas políticas.
“Estamos a favor de una reforma electoral que se discuta ampliamente, que se escuchen todas las voces, que se debata y se defiendan las posturas de cada una de las partes involucradas”, expresó.
Asimismo, subrayó que apoyarán la reducción de recursos destinados a los partidos políticos, pero siempre y cuando exista un esquema de reparto justo y equitativo entre todas las fuerzas políticas.
El líder de la bancada ecologista enfatizó que el ahorro y la eficiencia no deben convertirse en mecanismos de desigualdad política, sino en instrumentos que garanticen condiciones parejas para todas las fuerzas representadas en el Congreso de la Unión.
