En sesión de la Mesa Estatal de Construcción de Paz, que fue presidida por la gobernadora Maru Campos, las autoridades presentes acordaron ampliar las acciones para atender las causas de los delitos y reforzar las estrategias encaminadas a inhibir y prevenir la violencia.
Entre las tareas preventivas de atención a las causas de la violencia, se trabajó con 554 personas para fortalecer la seguridad escolar, en diversos planteles del estado ubicados en los municipios de Juárez, Nuevo Casas Grandes, Hidalgo del Parral, Ascensión y Janos.
Además, como parte del programa “Policía de Proximidad”, se capacitó a 50 elementos en la oficina de licencias de Pueblito Mexicano, en Ciudad Juárez.
Este programa se implementa a través de las brigadas preventivas de seguridad escolar, que involucran a padres de familia, maestros y vecinos.
El secretario de Seguridad Pública del Estado, Gilberto Loya, reportó la detención de 88 presuntos delincuentes durante el pasado fin de semana, por la comisión de diversos ilícitos.
Durante el encuentro, que se desarrolló en Palacio de Gobierno, la mandataria invitó a los representantes de las corporaciones de los distintos niveles gubernamentales, a seguir trabajando en la prevención y atención conjunta de los incendios forestales.
También los exhortó a redoblar los esfuerzos para brindar atención a las personas migrantes, en particular, a las niñas y niños que viajan sin la compañía de sus padres o tutores.
El fiscal general del Estado, César Jáuregui, presentó un informe sobre los trabajos realizados para combatir la criminalidad, acciones que se implementan en coordinación con las corporaciones municipales, estatales y federales.
En la sesión participó el secretario general de Gobierno, Santiago De la Peña; el coordinador de la Guardia Nacional en Chihuahua, Alejandro Rivas; así como los generales Rubén Zamudio, comandante de la 5/a Zona Militar y Alejandro Gutiérrez Martínez, comandante de la 42/a Zona Militar.
