La Secretaría de Salud de Chihuahua, informó que, al cierre del 31 de diciembre de 2024, se registraron un total de 297 mil 065 personas a MediChihuahua, un promedio mensual de 27 mil.
Este programa brinda atención médica gratuita a los chihuahuenses que no cuentan con otro seguro médico y fue puesto en marcha por la gobernadora Maru Campos en febrero pasado, en el marco de la presentación de su Segundo Informe de Resultados.
De dicho total, 172 mil 225 beneficiarios son mujeres y 124 mil 840 hombres.
En la ciudad de Chihuahua se han registrado 80 mil 275 personas; en Ciudad Juárez suman 52 mil 089; en Delicias 15 mil 019, en Cuauhtémoc 19 mil 745, en Parral 12 mil 752 y en Nuevo Casas Grandes 7 mil 076.
En municipios de la zona serrana, las Unidades Médicas Móviles han inscrito a un total de 5 mil 758 personas.
Desde el inicio de su operación, MediChihuahua ha brindado un millón 648 mil 533 de atenciones, de las cuales, un millón 259 mil 095 se han proporcionado en unidades de primer nivel (clínicas y centros de salud) y 389 mil 438 en unidades de segundo nivel (hospitales).
