El Congreso de la Unión analiza enviar una nota diplomática a Estados Unidos para protestar por las redadas contra migrantes mexicanos en California, que dejaron decenas de personas arrestadas, aseguró el presidente de la Junta de Coordinación Política de la Cámara de Diputados, Ricardo Monreal Ávila.
Explicó que la mayoría legislativa, compuesta por Morena, Partido del Trabajo y PVEM, utilizará la vía diplomática legislativa para protestar por las condiciones en las que fueron detenidos los migrantes mexicanos.
Ante las redadas encabezadas por las autoridades estadounidenses en Los Ángeles, California, dijo que antes de cualquier deportación se tiene que tener en consideración el cumplimiento de las leyes y el respeto a los derechos humanos de los migrantes.
Acotó que, aunque estas redadas se tratan de decisiones de gobiernos extranjeros, violentan derechos humanos y los derechos humanos son derechos universales y lamentó la forma en que fueron realizadas estas redadas.
“Este tipo de prácticas lamentablemente no van a resolver nada, no van a atender ningún reclamo de carácter social y sí van a agravar la convivencia en este lugar de California, donde hay millones de mexicanos y mexicanas”, sentenció.
