El Presidente Municipal, Cruz Pérez Cuéllar, reiteró su apoyo a las familias que fueron afectadas con las lluvias de ayer y señaló que hoy terminarán un censo para conocer a detalle los daños.
Dijo que el personal de distintas dependencias sigue trabajando en las zonas mayormente afectadas en busca de ayudar a los ciudadanos que perdieron algunos de sus bienes.
El alcalde comentó que el censo permitirá conocer quiénes son las personas afectadas y las necesidades más apremiantes. Estas familias recibirán apoyo con recursos municipales, mientras se solicita una declaratoria de emergencia al Gobierno Federal.
“Los vamos a apoyar, pues algunos perdieron todo; habrá casos de reubicación, yo hablé solamente con una familia pero serán reubicadas alrededor de 30 personas, buscaremos con Asentamientos Humanos predios en diferentes puntos de la ciudad”, mencionó.
Dijo que el Gobierno Municipal estará ayudando a las familias del poniente de Juárez con material de construcción, a fin de que reparen sus viviendas.
Respecto a las calles de asfalto dañadas por la fuerza del agua, el edil señaló que se reconstruirán, pues la corriente natural de agua dejó grandes estragos.
Comentó que la lluvia fue muy poderosa, además el sector tiene corrientes naturales de agua que sus mismos nombres lo indican y aunque se han hecho algunas obras ahí, es complicado contener.
Como parte de las acciones que se llevaron a cabo para atender a las familias del poniente de la ciudad, el Municipio habilitó desde ayer el albergue Felipe Ángeles y el Centro Comunitario La Montada. En el primero tiene capacidad para 200 personas y el segundo para 60.
Ayer mismo, el alcalde hizo un recorrido por la colonia Fronteriza Baja para conocer la situación de las familias y brindarles apoyo.
