Como parte de las actividades para dar la bienvenida a los proyectos del año 2026, esta mañana se ofreció un desayuno para las 96 coordinadoras y coordinadores de los consejos de las personas mayores que están constituidos en el Sistema para el Desarrollo Integral de la Familia del Municipio (DIF).
Al evento acudió como invitado el Presidente Municipal, Cruz Pérez Cuéllar, quien agradeció por todo el trabajo que las coordinaciones han realizado a lo largo de la administración que preside.
“Tengo un gran respeto por las y los adultos mayores, además que cuento con la enorme bendición de tener a mis padres y sé lo que ellos han hecho por mi familia, por mis hermanos, por mis hijos, por mis sobrinos y por mí”, expresó el edil.
Dijo, entonces, tener claro lo que las personas mayores hacen por sus familias y por ende, en su comunidad.
“Quiero agradecerles eso y pedirles que nos sigan acompañando en este hermoso camino que ha sido gobernar esta maravillosa ciudad, con todos los retos y dificultades que se puedan presentar”, señaló.
Mencionó que Juárez tiene rezagos debido a que no se le había dado el trato que esta urbe se merece, sin embargo, se han llevado a cabo muchas cosas para contrarrestar esa etapa.
Asimismo, dijo que el objetivo es seguir transformando la ciudad, por lo que aprovechó para pedirle a las y los presentes que tengan gestiones pendientes, hacerlas llegar de manera organizada para darles el seguimiento oportuno.
Por su parte, la presidenta del DIF Municipal, Rubí Enríquez, indicó que las personas mayores son quienes merecen gratitud por sus acciones en la ciudad, ya que su experiencia y sabiduría es fundamental en la vida familiar, base para la construcción de una gran comunidad.
La directora general del DIF Municipal, Lucía Chavira Acosta, destacó la visión de grandeza que desde un inicio ha tenido el alcalde para esta localidad, ya que siempre piensa en una ciudad grande y fuerte como todas y todos sus habitantes.
