La presidenta Claudia Sheinbaum afirmó que existen avances en temas comerciales en torno al T-MEC, aunque se reservó dar mayores detalles, luego de la llamada con Donald Trump.
Señaló que, aunque todavía no hay definiciones concretas sobre los asuntos que preocupan tanto a Estados Unidos como a México en la revisión T-MEC, las conversaciones y negociaciones “avanzan muy bien”.
“Hay bastantes avances, pero todavía no podemos comunicar mucho más (…). Todavía no hay nada concreto, pero se va avanzando muy bien. Ellos reconocen que México tiene el mejor acuerdo de todo el mundo, tanto en las tarifas que tenemos ahora como en lo que ellos llaman las barreras no arancelarias, así como en lo que les interesa para la revisión del tratado”, comentó durante conferencia de prensa.
