El cónsul adscrito de México en Shanghái, Leopoldo Michel Díaz, fue reportado por insultar y gritar al cónsul general Miguel Ángel Isidro Rodríguez y al personal de dicha sede diplomática, por lo que la cancillería mexicana inició con las investigaciones correspondientes por dicho comportamiento.
La Secretaría de Relaciones Exteriores (SRE) informó este jueves que tomaron medidas de protección para los trabajadores del consulado que fueron agredidos verbalmente dentro de las oficinas.
“Se han iniciado los procesos disciplinarios correspondientes para atender los recientes acontecimientos registrados en el Consulado General de México en Shanghái, deslindar las responsabilidades correspondientes y garantizar la seguridad del personal que ahí labora”, anunció la dependencia en una ficha informativa.
