Un total de 40 personas que forman parte del Modelo Homologado de Justicia Cívica de la Dirección de Seguridad Pública Municipal, obtuvieron la certificación ISO 1292 como parte de su profesionalización en atención de primer contacto que ayude a mejorar el trato que se brinda a los ciudadanos.
La subdirectora de Justicia Cívica y Prevención de la DSPM, Liliana Armendáriz, explicó que para obtener la certificación se contó con el apoyo de casas certificadoras de la UACH y de la empresa ABC y entre el personal capacitado se encuentran policías, jueces cívicos, médicos, agentes de detención y personal de trabajo social, entre otros.
Indicó que además de la entrega de certificaciones a 40 funcionarios, dos juezas cívicas recibieron un reconocimiento por apoyar en el desarrollo de un estándar ISO para la casa certificadora ABC, y tiene que ver con la realización de audiencias públicas.
Este tipo de certificaciones o acreditaciones se sustentan en la misión de la Policía Municipal por tratar de promover comunidades de paz y tranquilidad a través de herramientas como el Modelo de Justicia Cívica, de ahí la importancia de fortalecerlo profesionalizando y capacitando adecuadamente a su personal.
El modelo se introdujo a la Dirección de Seguridad Pública Municipal el año 2019 como un esfuerzo del Gobierno Municipal por fomentar una cultura de paz y legalidad.
Entre sus características se encuentran identificar causas que provocan la comisión de faltas administrativas para evitar que escalen a delito; tiene un enfoque restaurativo, contempla la mediación y las audiencias, tamizaje psicológico y se basa en el Reglamento de Justicia Cívica.
