El alcalde Marco Bonilla compartió con las y los chihuahuenses las principales acciones en materia de obras, desarrollo económico, educación y salud que han sido base importante para posicionar a Chihuahua Capital como la quinta ciudad más competitiva del país, la segunda con mejor calidad de vida y el primer lugar en innovación de acuerdo al Instituto Mexicano para la Competitividad (IMCO).
Como parte del esfuerzo realizado en materia de obra e infraestructura, Marco Bonilla informó que en unas semanas iniciará la construcción de los tres proyectos clave en materia de movilidad: el puente en la avenida Industrias y Los Nogales; el paso superior en la carretera Aldama y avenida Fuerza Aérea; el puente en la avenida Industrias y Los Nogales; y la gaza de incorporación de la prolongación Teófilo Borunda y el Periférico de la Juventud; obras que cuentan con estudios técnicos, impacto vial y diseño estructural.
Bonilla Mendoza, destacó que esto se suma a acciones como la modernización del alumbrado público con la sustitución de luminarias de vapor de sodio a tecnología LED, alcanzando el 85% de cobertura en la ciudad, con una inversión de 115 millones de pesos. Además, destacó la inauguración del Polideportivo Luis H. Álvarez, complejo deportivo de talla nacional construido con una inversión cercana a los 240 millones de pesos, financiado al 100 por ciento con recursos municipales.
Por otro lado, puntualizó que se tuvo una inversión de 181 millones de pesos para la rehabilitación y recarpeteo de vialidades urbanas y rurales, así como 145 millones de pesos en obras de agua potable y alcantarillado, que han beneficiado a más de 80 mil chihuahuenses.
Así también en materia de desarrollo económico, agradeció el apoyo solidario del Gobierno del Estado y reconoció el liderazgo de la Gobernadora, Maru Campos, quien ha trabajado incansablemente en beneficio de las y los chihuahuenses para lograr una atracción de mil 200 millones de dólares en inversión extranjera, así como otras acciones que permiten incidir directamente en el desarrollo de la economía de las familias capitalinas.
Muestra de ello es que “de los 37 mil 262 puestos creados en Chihuahua, 29 mil 495 se dieron en la capital, lo que representa prácticamente el 80% del total, esto con base en datos del Centro de Información Económica y Social”, puntualizó el Alcalde.
La educación ha sido otro pilar fundamental de la administración de Marco Bonilla, en el último año de Gobierno entregó más de 17 mil becas académicas y de excelencia, se invirtieron 53 millones de pesos en infraestructura educativa y con Mi Bolsa Escolar se entregaron mochilas y útiles sin costo a más de 130 mil estudiantes.
Otro compromiso cumplido durante este último año de administración es la creación de la Coordinación de Medio Ambiente y Protección Animal, que cuenta con el Esterimóvil, campañas de vacunación, registro de mascotas, además de que Chihuahua cuenta con el primer Reglamento de Protección Animal y del Protocolo contra el Maltrato en todo el estado.
Finalmente, en materia de salud, Marco Bonilla señaló la reciente inauguración de la Clínica Punta Oriente, que lleva casi 4 mil consultas en pocos meses. Asimismo, a través del Instituto Municipal de Prevención y Atención a la Salud (IMPAS) se han entregado 45 mil vales médicos, 71 mil consultas psicológicas y más de 32 mil visitas médicas a domicilio.
