Con los recursos que el Gobierno del Estado invierte en la Torre Centinela se podrían construir 12 pasos a desnivel similares al Distribuidor Vial Talamás Camandari, inaugurado el año pasado, mencionó el Presidente Municipal, Cruz Pérez Cuéllar.
“Yo creo que hubiera sido bueno que se invirtiera más por parte del estado en esta ciudad, ya que Juárez es parte del Chihuahua”, indicó en rueda de prensa.
Dijo que sería un acierto una mayor inversión en el presupuesto, en lugar de los trabajos para erigir la Torre Centinela, pues en su perspectiva no considera que vaya a tener alguna utilidad para las y los fronterizos.
Señaló que espera ya se empiece a considerar a las y los juarenses para obras, pues verdaderamente puedan ser de beneficio para la comunidad, luego de cuatro años y medio que va de la actual administración estatal.
El alcalde hizo referencia de los problemas de movilidad que tiene la ciudad, citando que el costo elevado de 4,800 millones de pesos que se invertirán en la Torre Centinela pudo repartirse en 12 distribuidores viales.
El edil juarense dejó abierta la pregunta a la ciudadanía; “yo nada más les pregunto ¿qué creen que los juarenses preferirían, una Torre Centinela o 12 distribuidores viales en la ciudad?
Creo que es más que obvio, añadió el Presidente Pérez Cuéllar.
