El alcalde Marco Bonilla encabezó el cierre del Festival de las Familias Felices 2026, que culminó con una presentación circense que llenó de alegría a niñas, niños y adultos en el Polideportivo Luis H. Álvarez.
Durante su mensaje, el edil agradeció la participación de las familias chihuahuenses y destacó que este festival fue diseñado como un espacio para fortalecer los lazos familiares, fomentar la convivencia y promover el tiempo de calidad entre seres queridos.
“Antes de ser presidente municipal, soy padre, soy hijo, soy esposo, y sé lo valioso que es estar con la familia. Este festival es para eso: para convivir, para reír y para reconectar”, expresó el alcalde.
Marco Bonilla reconoció el trabajo del DIF Municipal, encabezado por su presidenta Karina Olivas, así como de las dependencias municipales y estatales que colaboraron en la organización, logrando ofrecer actividades recreativas y culturales para todas las edades.
Asimismo, agradeció el respaldo de organismos como la Cámara Mexicana de la Industria de la Construcción (CMIC), cuya aportación contribuirá a la construcción de un refugio para niñas y adolescentes víctimas de violencia.
El alcalde reiteró que las familias son el eje central de su administración, por lo que se continuará impulsando políticas públicas y espacios que promuevan su bienestar.
“En Chihuahua tenemos claro que las familias van primero, y vamos a seguir trabajando para que cuenten con espacios dignos donde convivir y crecer juntas”, finalizó.
