Dos Centros de Educación y Cuidado Infantil (CECI) que se están construyendo en Ciudad Juárez ya llevan un avance considerable, dio a conocer el Presidente Municipal, Cruz Pérez Cuéllar en rueda de prensa.
El alcalde comentó que en este mes de enero podrían estar concluidos los CECI y se espera que la Presidenta de México, Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo pueda acudir a la inauguración.
Estas edificaciones son dos de los más grandes que existirán en la ciudad y estarán ubicadas en Praderas del Sol y Parajes de San Isidro.
Los edificios tienen área de recepción, la administrativa, pedagogía, cuarto de dirección, laboratorio de leches, una cocina, comedor, áreas de preescolar, de descanso, maternales y su patio central que están diseñados de cierta manera con un espacio de juegos para los niños.
Los proyectos son construidos bajo la normatividad del Instituto Mexicano del Seguro Social (IMSS) y son edificados con recursos federales en terrenos asignados por el Gobierno Municipal.
El pasado 30 de abril del 2025, el Instituto Mexicano del Seguro Social dio inicio a la construcción de cinco CECI en la ciudad, proyecto impulsado por la Presidenta Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo como parte del Sistema Nacional de Cuidados y en cumplimiento al compromiso con las mujeres trabajadoras de la industria maquiladora en la región.
