La presidenta Claudia Sheinbaum informó este miércoles que el exfiscal Alejandro Gertz Manero fue nombrado como embajador de México en Reino Unido.
La mandataria afirmó que el nombramiento ya recibió el beneplácito tras la solicitud presentada por la Secretaría de Relaciones Exteriores al país.
Gertz Manero presentó su renuncia como titular de la Fiscalía General de la República (FGR) en noviembre pasado y en su lugar quedó Ernestina Godoy.
Sheinbaum explicó que ahora debe ser ratificado el nombramiento en el Senado de México y ya después se irá a la misión diplomática.
