Demanda CIBanco al Departamento del Tesoro

La institución financiera CIBanco presentó recientemente una demanda en la Corte de Columbia en contra del Departamento del Tesoro después de las sanciones por lavado de dinero.

El banco señala que le tomó por sorpresa la orden que lo separa del sistema financiero de Estados Unidos y afirma que esta medida se emprendió sin una notificación previa ni un proceso adecuado.

Ante esto, pide que se declare ilegal e inconstitucional la orden que frena sus operaciones con dólares porque destaca que cesar sus transacciones internacionales les obligará a reducir su plantilla laboral y serán despedidos al menos 3 mil de sus empleados.
