El alcalde, Marco Bonilla, aseguró que por el momento, algún funcionario de su gabinete le manifestó su interés en participar en las elecciones del 2027, de ser así, el interesado tendrá que presentar su solicitud para la separación del cargo.
Sin embargo, recalcó que al presentar algún director su interés por contender en las elecciones del próximo año, tendrán que cumplir con los plazos legales establecidos para forma parte de los comicios de 2027.
Con relación a supuestos cambios al interior del gabinete, el alcalde descartó esta versión y la respaldó con los resultados obtenidos, que se evalúan a través de un sistema interno de medición diaria, así como también, mediante una valoración externa que procede del sector empresarial.
