El almirante Juan José Padilla Olmos fue designado nuevo director general del AICM, cargo que asumió este 16 de marzo.
El nombramiento fue hecho por el secretario de Marina, el almirante Raymundo Pedro Morales, como parte del proceso de fusión del Aeropuerto Internacional de la Ciudad de México, Servicios Aeroportuarios de la Ciudad de México y el Grupo Aeroportuario de la Ciudad de México.
Padilla Olmos fungirá como director general de las tres entidades, con lo que se busca eliminar duplicidades en la estructura corporativa para optimizar operaciones y recursos, mejorar la rentabilidad de las empresas, la seguridad y la conectividad aérea del país.
El contralmirante José Ramón Rivera Parga, anterior director general del AICM, se integrará al equipo del almirante Juan José Padilla.
Una vez que se concrete la fusión, AICM fungirá como concesionaria y operadora del Aeropuerto Internacional ‘Benito Juárez’ y como titular de las asignaciones de los aeropuertos internacionales de Ciudad del Carmen, Ciudad Obregón, Guaymas, Loreto, Matamoros y el nacional de Colima.
