En el marco de la entrega de obras de rehabilitación en la Escuela Primaria Aziz Rohaim, el Presidente Municipal, Cruz Pérez Cuéllar, adelantó que el próximo año se destinará un fondo especial de 100 millones de pesos exclusivamente para escuelas primarias, con el fin de garantizar que más planteles resulten beneficiados.
Este día el alcalde encabezó la entrega de las mejoras que se hicieron en esta primaria, en donde mejoraron el piso cerámico de las aulas y la instalación de malla antipalomas en el domo, como parte del programa de mantenimiento a planteles educativos que se ha impulsado durante su administración.
En su mensaje, destacó que más de 600 escuelas públicas han sido intervenidas en los últimos cuatro años, con acciones que van desde pintura e impermeabilización hasta rehabilitaciones mayores y reafirmó que “invertir en la educación es la mejor inversión que podemos realizar”.
Pérez Cuéllar reconoció el esfuerzo del personal docente, madres y padres de familia, así como la participación de los estudiantes.
Adelantó que ante el crecimiento del presupuesto participativo, que en 2025 alcanzó la cifra récord de 179 mil 500 votantes, en el 2026 se destinará un fondo especial de 100 millones de pesos exclusivamente para escuelas primarias.
El alcalde también anunció que, tras una visita de supervisión por la zona, se atenderá el problema de baches en los alrededores de la escuela, afectación que se intensificó a causa de las recientes lluvias. “Denos una semana de plazo y estarán las brigadas aquí trabajando”, aseguró.
Durante el acto, la alumna Ariadna Gurrola, de sexto grado, agradeció al Presidente Municipal el apoyo otorgado, señalando que “con los pisos nuevos en las aulas, mi escuela hoy luce más linda”.
Por su parte, el director del plantel, profesor Jesús Edgar Márquez, expresó su reconocimiento al Gobierno Municipal por ser el primer presidente que realmente apoya a las instituciones educativas y reiteró la necesidad de seguir colaborando en beneficio de la comunidad escolar.
El evento contó con la presencia de autoridades educativas, funcionarios municipales y padres de familia, quienes acompañaron la entrega de las obras que contribuirán a mejorar las condiciones de aprendizaje y bienestar de las y los alumnos de la escuela Aziz Rohaim.
