Fue detenida Yesenia “N”, secretaria particular del alcalde asesinado de Uruapan, Carlos Manzo, y de Grecia Quiroz, actual presidenta municipal de dicho municipio michoacano.
La funcionaria fue detenida en un operativo encabezado por la Secretaría de Seguridad y Protección Ciudadana (SSPC) y la Fiscalía estatal afuera de la Casa de la Cultura de Uruapan el jueves 8 de enero de 2026 a las 16:05 h, según se apuntó en una ficha del Registro Nacional de Detenciones.
Fue puesta a disposición de la Unidad de Investigación y Persecución al Narcomenudeo de la Fiscalía de Michoacán para ser presentada ante el juez que libró la orden de aprehensión.
La captura de Yesenia “N” estaría relacionada al homicidio del alcalde asesinado de Uruapan, Carlos Manzo, la noche del 01 de noviembre de 2025, durante un evento para conmemorar el Dia de Muertos.
Hasta el momento, ninguna autoridad federal o de Michoacán ha dado un posicionamiento por esta detención.
