Con el objetivo de dar seguimiento a la conformación de los Comités de Obra Comunitaria con los que los vecinos de diferentes colonias proponen las obras para mejorar su entorno, esta tarde el Presidente Municipal, Cruz Pérez Cuéllar, se reunió con Arely Rojas, coordinadora de Programas y Proyectos de la Secretaría de Gobernación (Segob) y con personal de la Secretaría de Desarrollo Agrario, Territorial y Urbano.
Esta reunión de seguimiento se llevó a cabo en la sala José Reyes Estrada, en la que también participaron María Antonieta Mendoza Mendoza, titular de la Coordinación de Atención Ciudadana y el director general de Desarrollo Social, Hugo Vallejo Quintana.
Arely Rojas comentó que lo importante de este programa es que son los vecinos los que eligen las obras que se harán para elevar su calidad de vida y por lo general están solicitando trabajos enfocados a fortalecer los lazos comunitarios y el tejido social.
Mencionó que ayer domingo se crearon los primeros tres comités en Senderos de Oriente, Sierra Vista y Riberas del Bravo y hoy se integrarán en la colonia Felipe Ángeles y en Horizontes del Sur.
Por lo general los vecinos solicitan canchas deportivas, domos o la restauración parques y que cuenten con áreas de máquinas para hacer deportes y los juegos infantiles.
El Presidente Pérez Cuéllar reconoció el trabajo que se hace para la comunidad y dijo que la administración municipal en todo momento está dispuesta a trabajar, porque estos son proyectos que están hechos para elevar la calidad de vida de los fronterizos.
