El Instituto Municipal de las Mujeres (IMM) inauguró la exposición de arte “Mujeres: otra forma de crear”, una muestra que visibiliza el papel fundamental de las redes de apoyo a través de distintas expresiones artísticas.
La exhibición está compuesta por piezas de pintura, bordado, barro, cerámica y otras técnicas que representan experiencias de lucha, fuerza y resistencia, así como procesos colectivos de acompañamiento y sororidad.
“El arte ha sido, históricamente, una herramienta de transformación social. En esta exposición no solo encontramos expresiones individuales, sino narrativas colectivas que nacen del acompañamiento entre mujeres”, expresó Elvira Urrutia Castro, directora general del IMM.
Las autoras de las obras son Zara Adriana Hernández Ontiveros, Diana Guadalupe Mejía Ayala, Rosa Ángela Belmont Lozano, Guadalupe Santiago Quijada, Patricia Ivonne López Mata, Adriana Ontiveros López y Marina Flores Solís.
La exhibición es de acceso libre y estará disponible hasta el miércoles 29 de abril en la sala Mujeres que Luchan, ubicada en la Unidad Centro del IMM, en calle Francisco Villa 135 de la zona centro, en un horario de lunes a viernes de 9:00 a 15:00 horas.
