Con el objetivo de que autoridades municipales y la comunidad se involucren coordinadamente para tener una ciudad más limpia y con orden, el próximo mes de febrero se llevará a cabo la Cruzada del Reciclaje 2025, además de que se aumentará el número de Puntos Limpios en distintos puntos de la ciudad.
Lo anterior se determinó durante la reunión de la Comisión Edilicia de Ecología y Protección Civil, en la que el titular de la dependencia, César René Díaz Gutiérrez, dio a conocer que el viernes 28 de febrero será la Cruzada del Reciclaje 2025.
Dijo que esto se realizará durante viernes y sábado, de 09:00 a 17:00 horas, en el estacionamiento del Centro Comercial Plaza Juárez Mall, aunque se está gestionando que se pueda extender hasta el domingo.
Lo que se podrá recolectar será el aceite de motor quemado, aceite vegetal, basura electrónica, medicamento caduco, pilas y baterías eléctricas, solventes, pinturas, focos fluorescentes, papel, plástico, aluminio y neumáticos en desuso, los que, por lo general, la Junta Municipal de Agua y Saneamiento, es quien los recoge y se los lleva.
Es importante que la comunidad conozca con tiempo este evento para que se prepare y deposite ahí todo aquello que considera basura y que por su naturaleza los camiones recolectores de Limpia no se pueden llevar.
En esta reunión estuvieron la regidora coordinadora, Laura Fernanda Avalos Medina, así como los ediles, José Eduardo Valenzuela Martínez y Gloria Rocío Mirazo de la Rosa.
En la junta, el director de Limpia, Gibran Alhe Solis Kanahan, habló sobre el aumentar los Puntos Limpios en la ciudad.
El funcionario comentó que hay tres residuos importantes que los camiones recolectores no se pueden llevar, como lo son las llantas en desuso, los tiliches y residuos de construcción o escombro.
Estos no se lo llevan las empresas recolectoras o la Dirección de Limpia, por lo cual la autoridad municipal buscó una alternativa y creo los Puntos Limpios a donde la comunidad pueda llevar estos desechos y con esto evitar que se queden en las calles.
Informó que se destinaron tres de estos puntos, uno de ellos se inauguró el 17 de julio del 2024 en Salvárcar, posteriormente se instaló uno en Valle del Sol, pero ese tuvo que ser reubicado debido a que el predio sobre el cual se estableció fue vendido por el Municipio y el tercero se encuentra en la calle Ponciano Arriaga.
En lo que corresponde a Valle del Sol, se estudian dos alternativas de donde reinstalar ese punto, agregó.
