El alcalde Marco Bonilla hizo entrega al personal de limpieza de la Dirección de Servicios Públicos Municipales, 15 camiones nuevos para la recolección de basura habitacional, 13 pick ups medianas y tres con capacidad de 3.5 toneladas para la limpieza de calles y avenidas, como parte del compromiso adquirido el año pasado para mejorar el servicio de limpia de la ciudad.
En su mensaje, el alcalde Marco Bonilla reconoció la entrega y compromiso del personal del área de limpieza que todos los días salen de madrugada para recolectar los desechos de cada hogar de las zonas asignadas.
Para mejorar las condiciones de trabajo del personal y del servicio, el alcalde Bonilla informó que fueron invertidos 151 millones de pesos para el arrendamiento por cuatro años de los 15 camiones recolectores de basura, 13 pick ups de las llamadas “estaquitas” y tres Ford F350 de mayor tamaño, así como seis vehículos más de supervisión.
Al intervenir, el director de Servicios Públicos Municipales, José Luis de Lamadrid, agradeció a todos su trabajo, ya que de todo el personal que colabora en el Gobierno Municipal, en personal de recolección trabaja bajo el calor, frío y hasta nieve para mantener limpios los hogares de Chihuahua.
En ese sentido, De Lamadrid expresó que cuando falta el servicio de limpia en las colonias se nota, por ello la importancia de mantener en optimas condiciones los camiones y no falle el servicio.
Finalmente, en representación del Sindicato de Trabajadores al Servicio del Municipio de Chihuahua, a nombre de la líder sindical, Martha Silerio, José Luis Acosta reconoció el compromiso del alcalde con la dependencia para mantener una flotilla actualizada.
