Durante un recorrido por el centro y occidente del estado, el Presidente Municipal, Cruz Pérez Cuéllar y la Asociación Civil Más por Chihuahua, entregaron este día un donativo a los habitantes de Valentín Gómez Farías.
Lo anterior con el propósito de atender una gestión que hizo la autoridad municipal de aquella ciudad, por lo que los donativos consistieron en una ambulancia y 844 piezas de mobiliario escolar.
El alcalde destacó que debido a que el Gobierno Municipal de Juárez ha adquirido unidades de rescate y de servicios públicos en beneficio de los fronterizos, ahora tienen la posibilidad de ser solidarios con otros municipios del estado de Chihuahua.
“Me da gusto contribuir y es derivado de la modernización que hemos hecho en Juárez, ahí hemos adquirido ambulancias, bomberas como en ninguna otra administración de Juárez y sin un solo peso de deuda y eso ha permitido ser solidarios como es el caso de hoy con Gómez Farías”, expresó.
Destacó que el donativo no hubiera sido posible sin la gestión de la alcaldesa de ese municipio, María Moreno Rascón, quien tocó puertas en varios lugares, entre ellos el Gobierno Municipal de Juárez.
Durante la entrega, el Presidente Pérez Cuéllar, agradeció el apoyo de la Asociación Civil Más por Chihuahua que gestionó el mobiliario escolar en Estados Unidos, mismo que consistió en bancas, archiveros, escritorios, mesas de trabajo, sillas y libreros para las escuelas.
El alcalde informó que su administración ha trabajado duro y ha apoyado a más de 500 escuelas públicas de Juárez que han sido rehabilitadas, y aunque no es una labor municipal, se ya hecho porque los niños son el futuro del estado.
“Estamos a la orden para seguir haciendo labor de hermanamiento entre Gómez Farías y Ciudad Juárez” indicó.
Moreno Rascón, agradeció el apoyo del Presidente Municipal Cruz Pérez Cuéllar y explicó que aunque gestionó en distintos espacios, el alcalde de Juárez fue quien contestó de manera inmediata la petición.
“Nos atendieron rápido y nos donaron mobiliario y la ambulancia y eso viene a ayudarnos mucho porque cuando había algún traslado, yo sudaba helado porque nos hacía falta ambulancia, tenemos una pero nos hacía falta otra y ahora ya la tenemos”, dijo.
Durante la entrega del donativo, el Presidente Pérez Cuéllar expresó la disposición de seguir trabajando con los municipios del estado que requieran apoyos y que trabajen en la gestión de los mismos.
