Como parte del compromiso del DIF Municipal de atender a las familias vulnerables de la ciudad, el alcalde Marco Bonilla y su esposa Karina Olivas, iniciaron con la entrega de cenas navideñas a las familias de la colonia Crucero, al sur de la ciudad.
A través del DIF Municipal, el Municipio estará llevando cenas, juguetes y chamarras del programa “Abrigos que Abrazan” en 22 colonias vulnerables de la Capital, para que las familias de estas zonas tengan una cena digna en esta Noche Buena.
El alcalde Marco Bonilla y la presidenta del DIF Municipal, tocaron las puertas de algunos hogares de la colonia Crucero, para hacer entrega de la cena, chamarras y juguetes en los domicilios con niñas y niños, así como sillas de ruedas y andadores en cinco hogares habitados por adultos mayores que por su edad o enfermedad les es difícil caminar.
Tan solo en esta colonia fueron entregadas más de 70 cenas, 80 chamarras e igual número de juguetes, que marcaron una sonrisa en las familias, sobre todo en las niñas y niños que además de pasar un invierno abrigado, podrán divertirse con el regalo.
Durante todo el día de hoy y mañana, personal del DIF Municipal estará visitando las colonias seleccionadas, para hacer entrega de más cenas, juguetes y chamarras donadas por asociaciones, empresas, ciudadanía y colaboradores del Gobierno Municipal.
