La Secretaría de Turismo entregó 34 Distintivos de Calidad Turística a establecimientos y prestadores de servicios de la región centro sur del estado, que cumplieron con los estándares correspondientes, en ceremonia efectuada en el municipio de Delicias.
Estos sellos brindan certeza, confianza y le aseguran a los turistas que los establecimientos cumplen con rigurosos estándares de calidad, lo que incentiva las visitas a las localidades e impulsa la derrama económica en hoteles y restaurantes.
En esta ocasión, la dependencia estatal otorgó los distintivos Punto Limpio y Moderniza a 18 prestadores de servicios turísticos, entre los cuales se encontraban 15 empresas de Delicias, dos de Camargo y una de Meoquí.
El acto fue encabezado por el secretario de Turismo, Edibray Gómez Gallegos, y el alcalde Jesús Valenciano García.
En su intervención, Gómez enfatizó que la calidad en el servicio a los turistas es fundamental para el crecimiento del sector: “Lo principal es la capacitación y la profesionalización, para que el viajero regrese y lo recomiende”, indicó.
El distintivo Punto Limpio, que otorgan la Secretaría de Turismo de México (Sectur), la Secretaría de Salud y la Secretaría del Trabajo y Previsión Social, se basa en el Programa de Buenas Prácticas de Calidad Higiénico-Sanitaria, y se centra en el cumplimiento de las normas de higiene.
Por su parte, el distintivo Moderniza permite a las empresas incorporar herramientas efectivas y prácticas administrativas modernas a su operación, con el objetivo de mejorar la satisfacción de los clientes e incrementar la rentabilidad, a fin de hacerlas más competitivas en el mercado.
Las empresas interesadas en mejorar sus servicios en el ámbito turístico deberán acudir a la Dirección de Calidad en las oficinas de la dependencia, ubicadas en avenida Universidad 2513, colonia San Felipe I Etapa, en la ciudad de Chihuahua, o mantenerse al tanto de las redes sociales en @TurismodeChihuahua.
En la ceremonia también estuvieron presentes Silvia Román Sáenz, regidora de la Comisión de Desarrollo Económico; Paloma de Jesús Castillo Varela, directora del Museo del Desierto Chihuahuense; y Orlando Barraza Chávez, subsecretario de Turismo, entre otros.
